March 12-April 4, 2008

A Community Partnership Project

This announcement is updated daily by 10 a.m. until Friday, April 4, 2008.  This is a public service message from the Aylmer and District Museum in partnership with Amtelecom, and the Aylmer Rotarians.  Each morning the Rotarians feed the swans at the Wildlife Management area around 8:30 a.m. After feeding chores are over they contact the Museum by 9:30 and we prepare the daily message which contains updates on attractions in our area for the coming week.

DIRECTIONS

The Wildlife Management Area is located directly south of the Ontario Police College on Hacienda Road.

Coming from the 401

Take Elgin Road South at Exit 203 at the 401 (formerly 73) to Aylmer (approx. 27km.).  Proceed south towards Aylmer until you come to Glen Colin Line located directly north of Aylmer.  There is a swan sign at that corner.  Turn left onto Glen Colin Line and travel about 5km. to Hacienda Road.  Turn left, and then be prepared to turn right at the swan sign.  This is the entrance leading back to the three viewing stands.
