From the Virginia  Historical Society in Richmond; called Virginia Revolutionary Pension Applications, volume 31, abstracted and compiled by John Frederick Dorman, Washington, Dc, 1978 on the subject of Leonard Drumheller's pension, there are several entries related to his testimony regarding his service. There is one dated Jan 1844, Albemarle Co, Va., as follows:

"Anna (X) Drumheller of said county declares she was born 30 Jan, 1781 and was married to Leonard Drumheller in 1800. Her first child, a son named Samuel, was born 1 March 1801. She was married in Albemarle County at the house of her father Nehemiah Hundly by Parson William Irvine, a Presbyterian minister. She now resides where her husband died on 22 Oct. 1841."

The next entry, dated 5 May, 1855, Albemarle Co., Va., reads:  -

"Annie (X) Drumheller of said county, aged 73, applies for bounty land. Leonard Drumheller of Albemarle Co., Va, private and fifer in the company of Capt. Leake in the Virginia line for six months, was placed on the Virginia pension roll at $21 per annum under the Act of 1832. Certificate 16666 was issued 12 Sept. 1833.
