1. Mary HUNDLEY "Polly" was born Abt 6 Feb1796/1800 in Albemarle, Virginia. She died 31 Jan 1870 in Scioto Twp., Pickaway, Ohio and was buried in Beckett Cemetery, Scioto Twp., Pickaway, Ohio.
Polly married William BECKETT, son of William BECKETT and Mary, on 20 Jan 1817 in Albemarle, Virginia. William was born 9 Jun 1796 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. He died before 1850.

In the 1820 census at Albemarle, Virginia, William Becket, with wife and 2 young girls under age 5.
In the 1830 census for Pickaway Co., Scioto, p. 95 is Molly Becket, age 30-40 with male, age 20-30 (possibly a hired hand?) 2 females age 10-15, a male and 1 female 5-10 yrs, 2 males under 5, 1 female, under 5. With these young children husband would have been around until at least 1829.

In the 1850 census for Scioto Twp., Pickaway Co., Ohio, p. 73 is Mary Becket, 57, born Virginia living with the family of David Musselman, 22 and wife Emily 21. Also with them is Payton or Fenton A. Becket, 25 and Nancy Hull, 18. They are living next Wiley Becket, 58, born Virginia. He a farmer. With him are his wife Aquilla, 52 and a Cynthia Runnels, 34, Andrew J. Becket, 28, Caroline, 18, Andrew J., 17. Wiley was one of 3 Beckets enumerated in Albemarle, Virginia in 1820 and is possible brother to William and brother-in-law to his widow, Mary Becket. [This needs verification and further evidence to confirm that this Mary is daughter of Nehemiah] Note that also at Pickaway Co. in 1850 is an N. S. HUNLEY, laborer, age 45. This would match with Mary's brother who was married but apparently separated from his wife, Sarah McClung.

4. Payton A. BECKETT (Mary) was born about 1825 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. He died 14 Jan 1866 in Scioto Twp., Pickaway, Ohio and was buried in Beckett Cemetery, Scioto Twp., Pickaway, Ohio.
Payton married Elisabeth I. MARTIN. Elisabeth was born about 1822. She died after 1860.
In the 1860 census for Scioto Twp., Pickaway, Ohio, p. 20, P. A. Beckett, 36, Farmer, $1200, born with wife Elisabeth I., 38 and children, Jerom M. Marten, 6, Henriette E., 4 and John R. 2. With them also is Francis Williams, 11 and John Dierett, 19, Teamster. They are next to John L. Martin, 36, sawyer, $3600, and Elisebeth I., 38 (double counted?) and Wiley H. Beckett, 8/12 and I H. Smith, 15. Peyton's mother Mary, is not with them.
