Katrina
is a 14 year old grade 9 student from Wikwemikong, Ontario on Manitoulin Island
who loves sports. Katrina is an ambitious, competitive and hard working
youth who excels in every sport. She has traveled many miles to compete in
various individual and team sports, and her goal is to become a professional
athlete, however at this time is undecided as to which sport will eventually win
her heart.
Katrina
is a community minded youth as well, assisting in local organized sports, and
school sports programs as a youth coach. Through her dedication and
commitment to the world of sports she has been able to help other youths in her
community gain confidence and promote a healthy living attitude to her peers.
At
14, Katrina has her long term goals within her reach. That is to compete
at the World Championships in 2003, and ultimately to advance to the Olympic
Games in 2004 in Athens, Greece.
