ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Learned sculpting techniques to build literacy props.

    Customer Experience Representative

    Hired as sales staff and advanced to cash, ultimately assuming one of the supervisory positions of Cashier on Duty. Responsible for the front of the store and other cashiers. Available to work any shift in a typical fourteen hour business day.

    Colchester-East Hants Public Library Truro, NS (September 2004 - September 2005)
    Library Assistant

    Involved in most aspects of branch activity including the reference desk, circulation and programming. Due to frequent travel, it was necessary to drive the library's car and van to transport equipment, supplies and other staff.

    County of Elgin St. Thomas, ON (December 2001 - March 2003)
    Cultural Services Department (Library, Archives and Museum)

    Completed four contract positions beginning with the two roles as CAP staff for the Library department, followed by a position as Digitization Assistant with the Archives and later Web designer for the Museum. Frequently asked to undertake special projects utilizing digital manipulation and multimedia software.
