Mission Statement

I strive to achieve two primary goals at the observatory:

Maple Ridge Observatory works to advance our understanding of the Solar System by contributing high resolution, multi-spectral CCD images of the Sun and planets to researchers through co-operation with international monitoring groups.

Maple Ridge Observatory also works to facilitate public access to the hobby of amateur astronomy through public presentations, star parties, and through the Maple Ridge Observatory web site.
