The Community Access Program was created through a joint effort of Industry Canada & several Wikwemikong Band Organizations. It was created to give Free Internet Access & Training to any community members who wanted to learn about the Internet.
This is being acheived through the creation of computer workstations at the Waasa Naabin Youth Centre for free public access. The private instruction of community members at Wikwemikong's Pontiac School; as well as the on-going instruction of computer applications at Wikwemikong's Wasse Abin Learning Centre/High School has been undertaken to help achieve this goal.
